First of All: We Need Fixers! Please Volunteer. We are in need of fixers, menders, mechanics, handymen (or woman!), woodworkers, electronic repair, and just about any other skill that can be used to help fix an item! Please click here for the Volunteer Form how your interest!
What is a Fix-It Clinic? A Fix-It Clinic, sometimes referred to as a Repair Cafe, is a volunteer led, local event that aims to reduce the amount of things we throw away by fixing the broken item. Many home items, like an old iPod, broken bicycle, wobbly chair, or ripped t-shirt can be easily mended and fixed. But not everyone has the skills, tools, or know-how. This is where the Fix-It Clinic comes in!
By gathering local experts who know how to sew, woodwork, solder electronics, and many other things, there is a chance we may be able to make your broken stuff useable…
