Home Composter Bins & Kitchen Katcher Pail Sales (since 1998)
To encourage home / backyard composting, RCC sells the Home Composter™ compost bins from our offices in Stevens Point
and Viroqua, and at various local events we attend. We also sell a Kitchen Katcher stainless steel pail that works great to collect
food scraps for composting in your bin outside.
Reusable, Organic Cotton Bulk-Goods Bag Sales (since September 2016)
In an effort to reduce the amount of plastic entering the waste stream, we now sell reusable bulk-goods bags
from our office. These bags are made from organic cotton, have a simple design on them, and are great
for all types of food purchasing/transportation: fresh foods like vegetables; bulk foods like rice; from a store
or from the farmers market; and you can take them with you anywhere. They are lightweight and take up
little space. Stop by the office to check them out or feel free to call ahead to make sure we're there!

Marathon County Solid Waste Department (MCSWD) (since March 2010)

WI Integrated Resource Management Conference (WIRMC) (since 2010)
WIRMC, Wisconsin’s premier solid waste and recycling conference, is presented by Associated
Recyclers of Wisconsin (AROW), the Solid Waste Association of North America-WI Badger Chapter
(SWANA), and Wisconsin County Solid Waste Management Association (WCSWMA). Together they
ontract with Recycling Connections for conference coordination and administration.

Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin (AROW) (July 2003 - May 2019)
AROW contracts with Recycling Connections to provide program and administrative
support services. Activities include (but not limited to):
Providing Program Director and Executive Director staff
Maintaining websites, membership database and financial records
Providing membership services and program coordination

Wisconsin Counties Solid Waste Management Association (WCSWMA) (since 2017)
WCSWMA contracts with Recycling Connections to serve as their executive director and to provide

Recycling Connections serves as the Administrative Assistant for the WI Badger Chapter of the

Central Rivers Farmshed (since 2011)
Recycling Connections supports and/or works in partnership with the Central Rivers Farmshed which
serves the central Wisconsin area. Our support is in the form of cooperative assistance as a fellow
“community and environmentally-minded” nonprofit organization. In 2012 we provided financial support
to purchase one of the many large poly-carbonate panels needed to renovate an old greenhouse as
part of their programming.
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (since 2012)
Recycling Connections serves as a community resource and industry contact for the
College of Natural Resources at UW-SP, especially related to the Waste Management section.
