Karin has a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) Degree in Forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UW-SP). She has been an environmental educator for over 20 years, working at youth camps, Jordan Park Nature Center and the Portage County Environmental Health Department. Since 1989 she has either volunteered or worked for Recycling Connections Corporation, gaining extensive background in recycling and solid waste.
In 2004 she was promoted as RCC's Executive
Director. Karin has completed the Portage County
Leadership Program, has served on the Associated
Recyclers of Wisconsin Board of Directors, is a Wisconsin Master Composter
and has completed the Nature-Inspired Health & Promotion Level I
Certification Program through EarthWonders, LLC.

Angie
Lemar
Program Director
Angie has a Bachelors of Science
(B.S.) degree in Waste Management from UW- Stevens Point. She brings a wide variety of experiences to RCC. Most recently, Angie worked as an Environmental Education Outreach Specialist for Environmental Education at UWSP and also worked part time with RCC to develop the Wiscosnin DNR Recycling Managers/Business Recycling Web-based toolkit. Angie held two summer intern positions at the Adams County Landfill & Recycling Facility for community education activities. She has also worked with AmeriCorps and the Northwest Service Academy in a variety of positions. Angie received her Master Composter Certificate from Alameda County, California.

Kathy has a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) in Biology from University of Kansas and a degree in Medical Lab Technology from St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City,
Missouri. She has worked in recycling and solid waste since 1981 and has extensive experience in composting outreach, including coordinating compost bin sales and the WI Master Composter Program. She has completed the Compost Advance Short Course at Cornell University and attended the MOSES Conference including a workshop from the Organic University on composting. Kathy also serves on the Town of Sharon Planning Commission and the North Central Conservancy Land Trust Board, volunteers with UW-Extension Master Gardeners and also has completed the Portage County Leadership Program.

Juanita has a
Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) from California State University,
Chico. An advocate for recycling since 1981,
Juanita was elected to several positions
on the Board of Directors of Intra-State
Recycling, currently named Recycling
Connections Corporation. She
has also served on the
Board of Directors for the Stevens Point Area Food Cooperative and
was involved there
as a volunteer and store manager for 25 years.
Energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated, Juanita has worked
for United Way; taught students
in
the area’s schools about the benefits of
organic, whole foods; instructed people of all ages during her 10
years as a yoga teacher and has over 30 years experience as a
gardener and composter.
