We are dedicated to waste reduction, composting, recycling right, and resource conservation. In addition to our services and consultations, we accomplish our goals by partnering on various contacts with industry leaders.

Marathon County Solid Waste Department

The MCSWD, www.marathoncountysolidwaste.org, contracts with Recycling Connections for the following recycling

and waste reduction services:

  • Staffed Information Line

  • Program Assessment of Municipal Recycling Collection

  • Website Maintenance Assistance

  • Marketing / promotion assistance of Department's services

  • Program & outreach assistance projects (2017) with the Village of Weston

We have provided support since 2010.

Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin

SWANA WI Badger Chapter

We proudly provide administrative support to the SWANA WI Badger Chapter to help them manage their board meetings, update their website, and send news to their members. www.SWANA-WI.org

The Wisconsin Counties for Solid Waste Management Association (WCSWMA) has contracted with Recycling Connections since 2017 to serve as their executive director and to provide project support services.  Learn more at www.wcswma.org.

WIRMC, Wisconsin’s premier solid waste and recycling conference, is presented by Associated
Recyclers of Wisconsin (AROW), the Solid Waste Association of North America-WI Badger Chapter
(SWANA), and Wisconsin County Solid Waste Management Association (WCSWMA). Together they
contract with Recycling Connections for conference coordination and administration.

Recycling Connections serves as a community resource and industry contact for the
College of Natural Resources at UW-SP, especially related to the Waste Management & Environmental Protection Discipline.  
Activities include: 

 

  • Community Mentor for WSTE 485 student class "cap stone" projects

  • Adjunct faculty and/or Guest speaker for College of Natural Resources’ classes
